Mosaik (1975) is one of Portugal's most renowned and long-standing graffiti writers. Having started out on his own in the early 1990s, he was soon invited to join the legendary PRM crew, Portugal's first graffiti clique responsible for spreading the art form around the country. Painting extensively in both Portugal and abroad, his style and skills have earned him the acknowledgement and respect both within and beyond the graffiti community. Eclectic and versatile, he has experimented with a little of everything from solid-block 3D forms to playful, ethereal characters. But it’s mainly letter forms that one associates with his work: clean-cut, pure typographical forms with innovative, strong lines and shapes that more often than not seem to have sprung up out of nothing you have ever seen before. Besides his pure graffiti productions, he has also taken his art to countless events and exhibitions, and is currently a member of the Thunders crew.
