A native of Bristol, UK, Sickboy was one of the first British graffiti writers to transition in the early 2000s from painting letters to using an easily identifiable logo instead. His red and yellow temple spread quickly throughout the city, alongside the slogan “Save the Youth”, earning him much respect in the burgeoning global street art scene. With formal art studies, he moved to London in 2007 where, besides painting in the streets, he also started showcasing his work in galleries. His current practice includes interactive installation, abstract narrative painting, film and light sculpture, and public interventions. Sickboy currently divides his time between his London and Barcelona studios, exhibiting and curating across emerging international art fairs and self-funded projects worldwide.
